Di Zhao Minidi
All of Di Zhao's instruments are made with careful attention to precision in their factory in Jingzhou, China. The flutes are all padded with Pisoni pads, and all pads are partially shimmed like professional flutes. All instruments are made to achieve smooth key action, fast response, and excellent resonance. Instruments are assembled, tested and adjusted by Di Zhao in the United States before being shipped.
The Di Zhao Minidi has been made as light as possible: the flute does not have a separate footjoint, but the body consists of one part ending on the d1 note. The flute does not have a trill mechanism or e-mechanism. The buttons on the keys, and the fixed thumb rest on the right hand ensure better playing ergonomics for the smaller player. The curved headjoint is hand-finished. In terms of sound and mechanism, the Minidi is a great flute for children!
