Tomasi MicroCork System
Specially developed, the Tomasi MicroCork pickup combines outstanding sound quality with unrestricted freedom of movement, making it the ideal companion for live performances.
The Tomasi MicroCork is installed in the flute headjoint in place of the cork and crown. It can be connected either directly via cable or wirelessly to the desired output.
Uses:
You have three options for connecting your flute to an amplifier using the MicroCork – naturally without feedback or amplification of unwanted noise.
1 | Connection to an amplifier
Increase the volume of your flute by connecting the MicroCork to a speaker with a mixer (with 48V capability). The flute's natural sound is preserved.
2 | Connection to a computer/mobile phone
Experiment with sound manipulation, special effects, tonal effects, distortion, and octave transposition by connecting the MicroCork to a computer (or tablet or smartphone) with installed sound mixing software via an audio interface.
3 | Connecting to an Effects Pedal
Achieve perfect, concert-quality sound effects by connecting the MicroCork to an effects pedal to modify the tone with the respective effects (e.g., guitar or vocal effects).
